Erhu
Erhu means litteraly "2 strings" in Chinese. The bow is stuck between the 2 strings, its played pusing the strings back or forth. Unlike the violin the instrument is played by touching the strings without pushing them against the fretboard. Traditionaly the sound box is made with a snake skin.
